Once completed, the Nurses’ Inn will be owned and operated by the nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization My Brother’s Keeper Service Center of Georgia with proceeds going for the operation of the Inn and community programs.
Restoration of the Nurses’ Inn will provide the following:
- 12 rooms for lodging
- A dedicated wing for nursing history and nursing museum
- Restoration of the chapel for weddings, memorial and funeral services
- 2 meeting rooms
When completed, The Nurses’ Inn is estimated to contribute to the economic growth of Griffin of between $250,000.00 to $1,200,000.00 annually from tourism. The goal is to maintain the Nurses’ Inn as a nonprofit and reinvest the revenue generated back into programs for the community.
